Another successful Theta Hacakathon has finished, with more submissions than any prior Theta Hackathon and some standout winners! The first we’ll profile is the Grand Prize winner, ChainSmith.
ChainSmith is a comprehensive management tool for the streamlined creation and deployment of subchains on the Theta Network. It empowers users to create, manage, and maintain a subchain without requiring comprehensive knowledge of the underlying infrastructure. It functions as an independent ledger, where once a component is designed, it’s mostly immutable to maintain data resilience and integrity.
ChainSmith was built by T. Gervais and J. Vos, the developers behind FuelFoundry, and is a critical component in the Theta development stack. Founded by passionate engineers and enthusiasts from the US and Netherlands, FuelFoundry provides middleware to the artist and technologist, bridging the gap by simplifying Web3 deployment.
ChainSmith integrates Theta.JS and Theta Metachain SDK to seamlessly allow users to launch their own Theta subchain. With military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption and a user-friendly Theta Metachain Wizard, enabling anyone from hobbyists to enterprise developers to easily work with Theta Metachain.
We look forward to seeing many future subchains launch using ChainSmith as their deployment tool! Tools like this will allow Theta Metachain development to expand to many new devs outside of the Theta ecosystem. Congratulations again to ChainSmith, and stay tuned for more profiles of Theta Hackathon winners coming soon!
