At DC Blockchain Summit, SDF's Chief Legal Officer Candace Kelly and SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce discussed how builders can help shape regulation by sharing what's working and pointing out low-hanging fruit.
Before heading to DC this week, I had the opportunity to take part in two dynamic conversations that we hosted in our San Francisco office on the future of finance.
Last week we co-hosted a workshop with USFās Center for Law, Tech, and Social Good, where we rolled up our sleeves to dig into how we can leverage blockchain for more-effective community financing. And today, the Atlantic Council Geo-economics Center convened leaders from industry, academia, regulatory agencies, and lawyers for a sharp and productive discussion on tokenization and the future of money.
These conversations underscore something important: building a financial system thatās both innovative and trusted demands real collaborationāand that work isnāt confined to Washington. San Francisco continues to be a vital hub for policy dialogue, technical innovation, and cross-sector alignment. I look forward to hosting more conversations and workshops here in San Francisco.
And Iāll be continuing the conversation next week at the DC Blockchain Summit, where Iāll join Commissioner Hester Peirce for a discussion on rebuilding trust in crypto.
