Keep an eye on July 6th being an eventful day. I will try to catch what is causing this EXTREME time marker in the event stream and update. With it being this BIG, it shouldn't be difficult. 😉
For those unaware: This is from Clif Highs Web Bot. Clif High's Web Bot is a computer program developed in 1997 by Clif High and George Ure. Its creators claim it can predict future events by analyzing language patterns and keywords found across the internet, including news articles, blogs, and forums. The underlying technology and algorithms are kept largely secret, and predictions are sold to subscribers through what are called "ALTA reports" (asymmetric language trend analysis).
How the Web Bot purportedly works:
-
Linguistic Analysis: The core idea is that human language, particularly what's expressed online, carries subconscious or collective emotional indicators about future events. The Web Bot monitors vast amounts of internet "chatter."
-
Keyword Lexicon: It uses a dynamic lexicon of keywords, each assigned numeric values to quantify emotional aspects like duration, impact, immediacy, and intensity. As of 2008, this lexicon reportedly contained around 300,000 keywords with emotional context.
-
"Predictive Linguistics": The program processes variations in language to identify emerging trends and shifts in collective sentiment, which High refers to as "predictive linguistics."
-
Interpretation: The raw data from the Web Bot is then interpreted by High and Ure to formulate their predictions.
Time Markers (or Temporal Markers):
"Time markers" or "temporal markers" are a key concept in Clif High's predictions. These refer to specific events or dates that act as anchors or triggers for subsequent predicted events. High claims that his Web Bot can identify these markers and the periods between them.
For example, a "temporal marker" might be a significant political event, a natural disaster, or a widely publicized interview. The Web Bot then supposedly identifies a subsequent period, like "39 days to melee" (referring to a predicted battle), that follows this marker.
